Lucas County Arena
The Lucas County Arena opened in the Fall of 2009. A year-round source of family fun, the arena will bring many of the nation's highest quality sporting and entertainment events to the region. Just as importantly, the new arena is located in close proximity to Fifth Third Field, the SeaGate Convention Centre, The Valentine Theatre, and The Toledo Museum of Art. Over 2 million visitors are expected to visit these attractions annually.
Lucas County has contracted with the worldwide leader in venue management, SMG, to manage the arena. Using its worldwide contacts in the entertainment business, SMG will work to ensure that the arena brings in many of the nation's top acts, such as: Sheryl Crow, Green Day, Brooks & Dunn, Sarah McLachlan, Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Disney On Ice, Lipizzaner Stallions, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, ArenaCross, Sesame Street Live and many more!
